This work was a meditation on not just bumble bees - among one of our greatest pollinators, but honeybees also, as you can see from the comb pattern noted throughout the background.
This painting took close to 2 months to create, and each time I sat down to the art table, that time was well-spent in meditation and gratitude for these amazing creatures, and how, without them, our world would not be the same.
